Unboxing my ‘Present:You’ album version

Got7 released their third full studio album Present:YOU this week on September 17. Although fans were able to pre-order the album online, I decided to wait for whatever reason is beyond me. I guess I wanted to see it in person and let my gut decide which one to pick since each version is random and you can’t tell which one you’ll receive.

Unfortunately, the K-Pop store that I visit on a regular basis was closed the day that the album was released. I’m not quite sure if they even had it the day of anyway. Since I had to work the rest of the week, I didn’t get the chance to go.

However, my lovely family went to the store for me a few days ago and my daughter thoughtfully chose a version for me. I was surprised when I opened my front door after returning from work to find a sealed up Present:YOU album in her hands waiting for me to unbox it.

When opened the wrapper, before I removed the outer slip, I had a feeling that it would be the group version. And of course, it was indeed the group version! I was so happy to have gotten this version since I love every single member, even though my bias is Jackson.

The outer slip was a mini poster of Mark. I received photo cards of Jinyoung, Yugyeom, JB, and Youngjae. I also received a large photo card of BamBam. The lyrics to all of the songs are included inside the booklet, surrounded by photos of the group as a whole and individual photos of all of the members. The thank you note was a group thank you. Unfortunately, I didn’t get anything of Jackson.

This album is my favorite thus far. I am in love with the solos! I have been playing the CD on repeat in my car, dissecting each song. I really like the fact that they all had a role in the development of each song. It makes it even more meaningful knowing that they put so much effort and energy into this album. You can definitely tell each member’s personality through their solos.

I definitely believe that this album is worth listening to and that these guys will go so much farther in the future! I’m excited to see what else they’ll bring and can’t wait for the next comeback!

Got7 Present:You album release

Hello iGot7! Today is the day that ‘Present:YOU’ drops! Today is also the day that the Lullaby MV is released, an MV that I have been anxiously anticipating!

The song sounds so good and what I love most about this album is that they made this song in different languages, including English. I’ve already listened to the full English version and trust me, it’s just as incredible!

Got7 knows that they have more international fans, which is why I think they are wonderful for taking it into consideration when deciding to make their comeback song in multiple languages for their international fans.

Their MNet comeback show also went live earlier. Although it started at 7 am for me here in America, I couldn’t help but tune in. They performed many songs, including I Am Me and Lullaby, as well as showing a preview of Hard Carry 2!

Got7 also appeared on Running Man which aired yesterday. They competed with the cast in three games and Jackson showed off his jumping skills, winning the first round for the group. Ultimately they lost to the cast but it was still very entertaining!

I am so excited for what’s to come from these guys! Don’t forget to pick up their latest (3rd full) album!

Got7’s “Lullaby” MV Teaser

JYPEntertainment Youtube Channel just released the teaser to Got7’s “Lullaby” MV. I cannot believe how catchy this song already sounds, and it is not at all what I had in mind after listening to the previous previews! I happened to be on Youtube when the video was released and within two minutes, it already received over 20K views. I’m so excited and can’t wait to see what the entire MV is like.

Just look at how cute Jinyoung is, especially when he does the ‘sleep’ move. And Jackson is all dark and handsome as usual. This teaser absolutely made me slap myself more than a few times, fangirl style.

 

Don’t forget to check out each member’s solo MV teasers! As of right now, all but Mark’s has been released and can be viewed on Youtube. Watch for the release of Present:You on September 17!

Jackson Wang “Made It” MV

Got7’s Jackson Wang semi-shirtless for a whole minute and a half? Yes, please! Since Jackson is my bias, I was more than a bit excited to get a notification on VLive (an app that lets K pop idols broadcast live videos where fans can join and comment in real time) that the singer/songwriter/rapper/dancer’s MV is out!

Jackson also posted part of the MV on his instagram. The song is titled “Made It” and is Jackson’s solo on Got7’s “Present:YOU” album.

 

 

Got7 to guest appear on ‘Running Man’

According to the show’s instagram post on September 4, the show will have all of the Got7 members guest appearing soon! The group’s comeback with their new album “Present: YOU” is scheduled to be released on September 17, 2018. The post did not mention the episode or date but it looks like it will be airing on episode 418 on September 16, according to sources.

Even though the guys have just wrapped up their “Eyes On You” world tour, there doesn’t seem to be any rest for these hard-working K-Pop Idols! This is good news for all Aghases out there who just can’t seem to get enough of the beautiful and talented Got7 members.

We’ll be on the lookout for any new updates. In the meantime you can listen to a sneak peak of their new single “Lullaby” in Korean, English, Spanish, and Chinese on JYPnation official youtube here.
